Catalyst's "Glass Ceiling" Report

Silicon Valley (the San Jose Mercury News web site) has a story about a new study by Catalyst on the glass ceiling in the tech industry.

The United States leads the world in technological advances, but women are still denied many of the high-tech industry's leadership roles, according to a study released today by Catalyst, a non-profit research and advisory group dedicated to advancing women in business.

I can't find any information about the study, entitled "Bit by Bit: Catalyst's Guide to Advancing Women in High Tech Companies" on the Catalyst web site yet. The SV article says it was released today, so perhaps it will show up soon.

(Thanks, Dave!)

CatalystWomen.org Factsheet

The factsheet might have some information. It's a PDF file that I can't read (vision problem, not technology).

I thought the second paragraph in the press release was interesting.
