The cigarette is lit. She is inhaling cigarette smoke regardless of whether she is actually smoking or not.
Yet another example of women trying to disclaim responsibility for the consequences of their actions. Why am I not surprised?
I laughed when I read that. But I can't tell if it's intentionally funny, or if it was accidental, sort of like one of those incredibly deadpan parodies that you're not sure is a parody at first, so you don't know if you're laughing with them or at them.

hey jules, you know how unneutered dogs have this almost uncontrollable urge to go around sticking their penises in things? you know, to hump things? well boys are pretty much the same way, except they try so very hard to keep it from being outwardly noticeable. so there's a lot to be said for your inner reserves of embarrassment! which is, or rather should be, a huge amount of guilt. happy 2004 :D

Uh, non sequitor, anyone? I'd call this comment a series of wild leaps in logic, but that would make the initial assumption that you have any logic, which I doubt.
