vote early (if not often)
Much to my surprise, we've been nominated for a Bloggie award, in the category of Best Group Weblog. danah and I will both be at SXSW, where the awards will be presented, and I'd be delighted if misbehaving.net got a little visibility at that conference. So, if you enjoy the site (and I get a lot of offline comments from people who do), it would be great if you'd cast a vote for us.
There are some other women's blogs that deserve consideration for their awards, as well. In the "Best Programming of a Web Site" category, three of the five nominees are written by women--Big Pink Cookie, ScriptyGoddess, and The Girlie Matters. The latter two show up again in "Best Web Development Blog."
And while she's not tech-focused, my friend Allison Kaplan Sommer has had her blog ("An Unsealed Room") nominated for best Middle Eastern Blog. She's up against Raed (and some other great blogs, as well), but as a sort of blogparent (and as a regular reader), I have to put in a plug for her. And another non-tech blog by a woman that I voted for was Clotilde's marvelous "Zucchini & Chocolate, which is mouth-wateringly written.

Congratulations. Based on the last threads, and specifically more personal discussions on Liz' and Danahs blogs I realize that you guys had no idea what you where getting yourself into when you started this site.
I like this site, I specifically like the "misbehaving elsewhere" blogroll. There is always something interesting to be found there. What I don't like is the trolling that has been going on and I understand the frustration that you guys must be feeling over the difficulty of managing the site.
I hope that you will not close down the comment system because of that and I hope that you will continue to post informative posts as well as bold controversial ones that ask for strong responses.
And girls - don't expect those fine women here to speak for you everytime, all the time. Agree with them or disagree with them. But speak for yourself.

I just found this site while looking for research for an article on blogs I'm doing.
I'm really excited about finding it.
