Meg Hourihan Interview
I hope everyone got to hear my interview with Meg Hourihan here on IT Conversations. The thing that struck me in a big way was how Meg's mother created a world for her that was all about technology from an early age. I think this was terrific, though perhaps not so intentional on her mom's part.
Thanks again Meg for taking the time to chat. It was great to find out about the beginning of Blogger and those long ago days of 2001 when it all got started.

Thanks to all of you for pioneering this trend - women bloggers. It finally gives us a voice. The mainstream media rarely covers the achievements of women so I started a blog to bring together in one place the positive articles I could find on what women are doing. It's called NewsOnWomen.com and it really highlights the impact women can have on business, education and more. My goal is to create momentum behind all these amazing women (including you) so that mainstream media will increase its coverage. Without the blogging technology, I wouldn't be able to do it.

I am teaching my 7 year old how html and css work together to form a web page. My kids and I play games together alot, too. Don't get me wrong, we like being active and sports too, but I am glad we are mostly a geek family.
