danah boyd


danah is a Ph.D. student in Information Management and Systems at UC-Berkeley. Currently, she is studying the impact of digital context on how people construct and manage their faceted identity (and social network). Prior to coming to Berkeley, danah studied sociable media at the MIT Media Lab and computer graphics at Brown University. She previously worked as the Digital Director of V-Day, a non-profit working to end violence against women and girls.
